Yes, the head of the Secret Service resigned (as is fitting) but we don't know who gave the orders to leave the rooftop open for anyone that wanted to kill the once (and hopefully future) President. 

We should know the name of the agent in charge but do not.

Who gave the orders?

Bear in mind that when a police officer in the mid west kills a Black felon in the middle of a crime we will know the cops name before the body is cold.

Somehow it's toooooo complicated to figure out who gave the orders that enabled the assassination attempt.
