One of the biggest issues for me was the fact that jurors had to pass through groups of pre rioters (protesters) on the way to and from court. Jurors should not have to fear for their jobs, lives, families and property when performing their roll.
The jurors should have been sequestered and the trial moved to some small corner of the state. Anyone that believes that they weren't watching the news interviews with pre rioters, talking to friends and family and searching the internet about the trial is a fool.
The National Guard should have been on call while waiting for a verdict and State Police should have flooded the site of the trial.
Instead we got what we got. I don't know if the verdict was correct or not. I do believe that the trail was far from fair.
