“It Is Impossible to Get By,” Professor Laments Cost of Living for the Average American (msn.com)
“Half of all American workers now make under $41,000 per year. That comes to $3,400 per month. Given the median rent is $1,978, and the used car payment is $528, that leaves precisely $894 for everything else.”
"That less-than-$900 includes “food, utilities, medical insurance and premiums, clothes, car repairs, sick kids, and that once-a-year dinner out at McDonald’s.”
Let's look at inflation under Biden. His first year in office had 7.6% "Official" inflation. Ditto for year two. Last years inflation rate was 3.4% and we're currently at 3.1%.
We've seen an almost 20% inflation rate under Joe Biden and only a fool would not attribute the majority of the increase to his policies.
Never mind the 39% increase in the price of eggs since Biden took office.
Forget about the 34% rise in the price of ground beef since 2021.
Ignore the 51% jump in milk prices since the summer of 2021.
Gasoline has increased 33% since Slow Joe started shuffling around the White House.
I don't know how any family pulling in less than 100K per year can make it under Bidenomics.
