Well said but I have one disagreement with Shapiro's statement.
$2 billion in damages were paid out by the insurance companies. That's where the number came from.
It's great that some people got paid for 70% (?) of what they lost weeks (or months) after the "Fiery but mostly peaceful" terrorism.
My problem is that some people were either under insured or had no insurance. I can't even imagine what that $2 billion would actually be if their losses were paid for.
