Hmmm... common sense would say that Musk's companies provide services that no one else can provide. His company got government subsidies for producing EV products just like every other car manufacturer that produced electric vehicles.
As for SpaceX, he's putting satellites in orbit and will soon be rescuing our astronauts from the space station. Bear in mind that we were previously paying the Russians for services like taking our astronauts into space.
Then there's Starlink. Musk's product has brought internet service to people that have never had internet in their life. In addition to bringing internet to the rural masses, he gave free internet communication to the Ukrainians for months after the Russian invasion. Giving the Ukrainians back communications in the middle of a war is invaluable.
As for the investigations, how many of them are politically motivated due to his support of Trump and bringing Freedom Of Speech to Twitter?
