We didn't start blowing up these drug boats because they were a threat to the US military.
We started destroying them because they are a threat to the citizens of the USA. The 80K overdose deaths and countless destroyed families due to OD's and addiction bear out my claim.
If the drugs were recoverable they they're just as dangerous as a truck load of Semtex or AK's.
The drug runners should have a life raft or life jackets to allow them to leave the target when it's disabled.
