Kenosha Business Owners and Residents Speak Out After Rioters Destroy Buildings In Night of Chaos

I was basically told by someone very close to me that the looting and destruction across America is OK because the businesses have insurance. You can't imagine my disappointment. Even if a Target or CVS is destroyed the community has still lost jobs, and a place for locals to shop.
Everything is OK for the "Struggle" when it's not your job that is lost, or if it's not you that is now lacking a pharmacy within 30 minutes of your home.

Yeah, these people had insurance. The insurance company will no doubt pay back part of their losses. I doubt that everything will be paid for. Of course their rates will increase.
But what about their lost wages, and the likelihood that some mob of idiots and arsonists will return?

This is damn sad. These people did nothing except have a business in the path of a mob of domestic terrorists. So much for playing the game, and doing the right thing in 2020 America. They didn't deserve this.

I look at Portland (daily) in the news or on Andy Ngo's twitter feed, and see similar destruction. I don't really feel as badly for the citizens of Portland. They elected the "Leadership" that seems happy to lick the boots of ANTIFA. The cops of Portland don't deserve their fate, but the average citizen got what he/she voted for. Elections matter.
