Quick Tip: Is It OK to Store Magazines Loaded?

This is accepted lore across the internets so it must be true.

Just kidding. Major magazine manufacturers are now saying that it's OK to leave your mags loaded. With that said, it's expected that you'll see a slight weakening of spring tension (IMO) as you use the magazine. Anyone that has bought a new pistol with mags that are extremely hard to load knows what I'm talking about. After a few range trips the magazines become easier to load. Here's the thing. There is a certain tolerance built into everything that you buy. Magazines can accept a certain amount of tension loss and still be GTG (again, IMO). That's why a well used, or even slightly used magazine, is easier to load than a new mag and still reliable (right up until the point that they aren't).
In my opinion.
